Charles Hooman : ウィキペディア英語版 | Charles Hooman Charles Victor Lisle Hooman (3 October 1887 – 20 November 1969) was an English sportsman who played first-class cricket for Oxford University between 1907 and 1910.〔(【引用サイトリンク】publisher = ''CricketArchive'' )〕 He was also a Blue for golf and rackets and later represented the Great Britain and Ireland golf team in the Walker Cup in 1922 and 1923. He was born at Ditton, Kent and died at Palm Beach, Florida, United States of America. Educated at Charterhouse School and Brasenose College, Oxford, Hooman was a right-handed batsman who made 38 first class appearances, scoring a total of 1758 runs. Up to 1909, he also played Minor Counties cricket for Devon, but after appearing in the University Match in 1910, he played out the rest of the season for Kent, helping the side to win the County Championship that season and being awarded his county cap. He played no further major cricket after the end of the 1910 season. He was the son of Thomas Hooman, who played association football for Wanderers and appeared in the 1872 FA Cup Final. The death notice for him in ''The Times'' refers to him as "Charles Victor Lisle 'Chubby' Hooman", married to Roma and with a daughter called Stella. ==References==
